Avoid low budget windows that won't stand up to the severe weather of the coastal environment.
Andersen Patio Doors
Avoid low budget patio doors too. And while you're at it go for taller doors for better views.

Quality Kitchen Cabinets
Cabinets should be constructed with plywood boxes (not particle board), dovetail drawer corners, and soft close drawers.
